About

What’s up! I’m Jett, born and raised in Morgantown, West Virginia. In 2002, my love for rap music ignited when I first heard Eminem’s “Without Me” on the radio. I was hooked, and spent years listening to Eminem exclusively, memorizing every song.

In high school, I branched out, exploring artists like Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, Hopsin, Macklemore, Big Sean, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre.

After initially studying engineering at WVU, I shifted gears to focus on music industry and production, earning a degree in 2018. Still, I felt something was missing. For peace of mind, I returned to WVU to complete an electrical engineering degree in 2021, closing an unfinished chapter in my life.

I set out to begin an engineering career, but soon realized the corporate nine-to-five life wasn’t cutting it. Back in the day, I wasn’t confident enough to be a rapper. But times have changed, and so have I. I’m ready to live, because life’s too short to not be creative.
